What stays on your computer
Your match videos, tags, rosters, notes, analysis and exported videos are stored only on your computer. PitchTag Studio has no account system and no server of its own.
What is sent over the internet
- License activation: your license key and your computer's name are sent to Lemon Squeezy (our payment and licensing provider) to activate and occasionally validate the license.
- Update check: the app asks GitHub for the latest version number. No personal data is sent.
- Gemini mode (optional, off by default): if you enter your own Google Gemini API key and turn it on, a low-resolution copy of the match video (or the YouTube link) and your team names are sent to Google for analysis under your own Google account; tag statistics are sent for the AI report. Google's terms and privacy policy apply. The app deletes the uploaded copy after the analysis.
- YouTube: YouTube matches play in YouTube's official embedded player, which is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We receive your name, email and order details to provide licenses and support.
